 Risky Mountain Climbing to School

Introduction:

Every Day of every week of every month of every year I take the most devastating, most disastrous walk to school. It takes 5 hours to get to school every day and my school starts at ten o’clock so I have to get up at four thirty in the morning to get to school half an hour early. 

What bad could happen ?:

The bad thing that could happen is if there's an earthquake, well you have to hold on tight because those beige, ancient rocks are not that stable so you need to hold on tight to something that's not under those old rocks or you might get crushed! Another bad thing that could happen is that if you slip it's a very long way down but those two things never happen and we never slip because we go with our parents.

Maths and Place Value Week 9

Maths Place Value Reflection Week 9 - To go on Blog Thinking about my learning in place value the parts I’ve improved upon have been (which concepts - get them from the subheadings on the test) . Give some examples eg I now know how many 10s are in a number eg there are 12 tens in 120. Next time I’ll improve on my decimals and dividing but I did like the decimals though. These could have been Mathletics, watching videos from the website, the workshops you attended or the Kahoots you were part of. The parts I really enjoyed were were the adding and subtracting the decimals. The parts that could be better would be the dividing 10, 100 and thousand

 My Weekly Reflection for Week 8

What I learned this week was about decimal numbers and the long ‘I’ sound.

 In Maths I learnt how to place decimal numbers and put them in order from smallest to biggest. 

In Spelling I learnt about the long I sound easy and hard and this week I got 19/20 right because I got kaleidoscope wrong but last week I got 20/20 cause we did the easy last week and the hard this week.

Thinking about our value of responsibility, this is how I’ve been responsible this week.  

My next steps are to get better at my smallest to biggest decimals and get better at the word kaleidoscope and also get better at all the long I sound and words, and all of the long sounds and words.

My person who I think has been the most responsible this week is Daisy because she has been very nice and caring and responsible for her stuff like when she left her bag unzipped or when she left her stuff out she would zip her bag back up or she would quickly put her stuff back in her tote tray so thats why I think her this week.

My Maths Reflection on Learning in Statistics  By Reuben 3.3.21

What I’ve got better at or improved upon. 

I have now learnt about probability and that some events are more likely to occur or happen than others. You can even use fractions and percentages to show them. I have also learnt a bit more about diagrams because we learnt alot about diagrams in England but that was 3-4 years ago so I forgot a bit so it's good I learnt about diagrams again.

What I still need to work on:

I still need to work a bit more about diagrams and wee bit more on line graphs. And more on my statistics but I also will always be working on all of my maths even the 3 times tables.

What I enjoyed and what could be better. 

I really enjoyed the Kahoots since they were fun plus playing the number spinner games where you had to guess which number might come up. Which helped me more with my statistics and knowing what number will come next. I would like us to reflect more because I love reflections. I think we could do them every lesson even it’s just speaking.  

 

 Who am I?

I like pepperoni pizza. I have dark brown fluffy hair. I have hazel shiny green eyes and I love to play football also play and watch cricket. My favorite animal starts with an S. Also did you now I have a necklace and a book of it. My favorite games are Star Wars Battlefront, Fifa, Lego DC Super Villains and Forza Horizon. I also have an Xbox One and a gaming headset I got for my birthday. I have 2 pets, a fat black cat and a big strong tan colored puppy. I hate snakes and spiders, and my birthday is somewhere at the start of the year.  WHO AM I!
